i have the same laptop but during gaming i have a lot of stuttering and very low fps drop.

4gb ram(should i upgrade it to 16?)
and 4gb gtx 1050(not ti)

I have the exactly same laptop with same specs only a 500gb SSD from Samsung but I keep getting frame drops and freezes in games like CSGO or Rainbow, Also it get very hot even tho i changed the termal paste

I have the exact same specs as you only i have 500GB SSD that isnt M2 but other than that its the same but i get insane screen tearing when playing R6 and you …even tho you were recording on top of playing R6 on ultra you didnt get any screen tearing is my laptop screen not made for gaming or is it broken or something?

I still have my Asus Roq strix 7700HQ 16GB ram and 1050TI love my laptop I bought it new in 2017 now its soon 2020 and I still play AAA titles with no problem maybe not on highest settings but 1080p on medium easy.. great processor and GPU
